Home-grown utility vehicles maker Mahindra pulled the wraps off its much-awaited compact SUV TUV300 in India on Thursday.
Priced in the range of Rs 6.9 lakh and Rs 9.12 lakh, Mahindra TUV300 is the first SUV in India to come equipped with AMT gearbox.
TUV300 compact SUV, the battle tank inspired sub-four metre model, is powered by 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder, mHawk80 diesel engine which is tuned to churn out 84bhp power and 230Nm torque. The engine comes paired to either a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.

Front grille with chrome inserts, front fog lamps with chrome accents, body coloured door handles, body coloured ORVMs, static bending headlamps, rear defogger, follow-me-home headlamps, tailgate-mounted spare wheel.
Interiors
Silver accents on AC vents, infotainment system with display screen, 2 DIN music system, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, driver Information System (DIS), steering mounted audio & phone controls and driver seat height adjustment.
Safety Features
Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, seat belt reminder lamp and auto door lock while driving.
Variants and Colour details
Mahindra TUV300 is offered in three variants - TUV300 T4, TV300 T6 and TUV300 T8.
The SUV is available in six body colour options - red, black, orange, silver, blue and white.
